SJUMC Care Ministries Team is about expressing God’s love and grace with care and concern for the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of our congregation and community. We lift up those during their time of need and life-changing challenges with intercessory prayer and serve through personal contact and support.

The Care Team has an active prayer team. The Team has also launched several support groups, as well as our prayer shawl ministry, Wrapped in Love. Other ministries under the Team's umbrella include: distributing altar flowers; visiting and serving communion to homebound members; connecting with new parents, college students, and our military; and coordinating with other groups to provide meals.
