Women's Ministries

St. John's has a very active group of women. We invite you to join any of these groups any time!

  • Ladies in Fellowship Together (LIFT)

    3rd Tuesdays at 10am

LIFT is a group of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of service in our church and community. LIFT meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (except for June-August and December) at 10:00am. Each month we have fellowship, light refreshments and a program. All ladies are welcome.

  • Women's Book Study

    2nd Saturdays at 9:30am

Each month (usually the 2nd Saturday at 9:30am), a group of women meet and discuss a novel. The novels range in topic and include secular and non-secular books.

This month's book is Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance. "A deeply moving memoir, with its share of humor and vividly colorful figures, Hillbilly Elegy is the story of how upward mobility really feels. And it is an urgent and troubling meditation on the loss of the American dream for a large segment of this country." Discussion will be Saturday, May 11 at 9:30am in Room 105.
