Pastor
It is an honor to be the pastor at St. Johns UMC! Being a pastor in the Annual Conference for over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege to serve churches of various sizes and settings and enjoyed the uniqueness each church offered the communities they serve. In 2004 I met and married my beautiful wife, Kim who continually amazes me with her love. We share our house with a Chocolate Lab named Grace and a cat named Lila. Kim and I are excited to be part of St. John’s rich history and diverse ministry.
I completed my undergraduate work in Sociology and Psychology at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches. After that, I received my M.Div. from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
When not at the church you will find me enjoying several hobbies including pottery, gardening, knitting, working in my garage, camping/ hiking, and playing guitar (badly). But most likely I will be kayaking Matagorda Bay or the Brazos River, chasing after that perfect fish to bring home for dinner.

DIRECTOR of Music Ministries
Having grown up at St. John's, Tim joined the staff as Youth Director in 1991 and became Director of Music Ministries in 1996. Since that time Tim has developed an exciting and growing music ministry touching all ages from children to adults. Tim has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Houston Baptist University.

Office Administrator & Wedding Coordinator
Melissa joined the St. John's staff in 2005. As a former Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, she runs the church office very efficiently. In addition to coordinating office activities, she functions as a receptionist, always welcoming anyone and helping them find what they need.
Melissa also serves as our wedding coordinator, helping ensure that couples choosing St. John's as a wedding site have a great experience. Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her daughter in various activities.

CHildren's DIRECTOR
Hannah is local to the Fort Bend County area, and is a primary school teacher. Hannah has a love for literacy and education, and received both her Bachelors and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston.
Hannah attends St. John’s with her husband and daughters. In her spare time, you will find Hannah working out, reading a book with her dogs, or watching a movie. Hannah is always available to give a good book recommendation to our children of the congregation!

Organist/pianist & Handbell Choir Director
Claudia joined the staff of St. John's in 1999. An accomplished organist and pianist, Claudia brings to St. John's many musical gifts that add to the worship experience. Claudia also serves as the Worship Coordinator at another church and directs music at several Houston-area theaters.

Nursery Coordinator
Bunnie brings that loving grandmother spirit of caring to St. John's nursery. Having worked in the nursery since 2002, St. John's families can always count on her for the special love that every child deserves.

Head Nursery Attendant
Lupe, who joined the St. John's staff in 2008, has a special way of showing her love for children. She retired from the Richmond State Supported Living Center as a Home Supervisor after twenty eight years. She still goes and visits with the patients. On weekdays you can find her taking care of little ones at Gingerbread House in Rosenberg.

Custodian
Felipe joined St. John's staff in 2006 and has the difficult job of maintaining the entire church facility. He is always willing to help any way he can on special projects and events and does it with a cheerful spirit.
