St. John's meets the spiritual needs of our youngest disciples in many ways!Three Sunday School classes for children at 9:45 a.m. The Pre-K and Kindergarten class, ages 3-5, meets downstairs in room 303 of the Education Building, and 1st-3th graders meet in room 405/406 upstairs. 4th-6th graders meet in room 407. All classes are well marked, but if you need help, please ask anyone!Each 3rd grader receives a new Bible in the Fall. Tuesday Evening Kids' Club: Each Tuesday evening as adults are gathering for study and worship, the kids are offered Bible study and other age-appropriate activities. Children's Church: Each Sunday morning, during the sermon portion of the 11:00 a.m. worship service, your children can participate in Children's Worship - a continuation of worship where the children are presented the sermon topic in a kid-friendly way!Children's choirs and chimers: Meet on Wednesdays after school (4:00-5:30). VBS: Each summer, St. John's hosts a Vacation Bible School for children. Each year for the past few years, we have been visiting ancient sites and learning about the Bible in a very hands on way. We have been to Nazareth and Egypt and will be heading to Rome this summer. Please check back in the Spring for additional details!
