Traditional Worship at St. John's

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come into His presence with singing...Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him, bless His name.

Psalm 100: 1-2, 4

We invite you to join us for traditional worship at St. John's every Sunday morning.  Two worship services with traditional style are conducted in the Sanctuary at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  These services include traditional United Methodist liturgy, music, and preaching.

A nursery is available for infants and toddlers during all services, including the Sunday School hour.

Children are welcome to attend our Children's Church during the sermon, where they will continue the worship experience in a kid-friendly setting so that parents can better focus on the sermon.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion

Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month at all services.  The Lord's table is open to all persons who desire to receive the Grace of God and lead a new life, regardless of age, race, or denomination.

For those preferring a more contemporary style of worship, the Sacred Grounds worship service is held at 11:00 a.m. in Wendt Hall.  Click here for more information.
